If you’ve been out of the loop with Fortnite for a while, you can play with 60fps gameplay on certain mobile devices now and full cross platform play is a reality. Today, Patch 9.21 has begun rolling out on all platforms and it includes the Proximity Grenade Launcher, Horde Rush LTM, and more.
Horde Rush is a new 4 player coop Limited Time Mode that will go live in game on June 13th. This mode lets you fight with friends to eliminate monsters and increase your own score with multipliers. It also includes a final boss and is a multiple stage mode. This mode will also include special loot chests with powerful weapons and bonuses to your score. The Proximity Grenade Launcher is available as an Epic or Legendary drop and it uses rocket ammo. This lets you fire a bouncing profectile that explodes near an opponent.
