AT&T's no-contract subsidiary has started selling the Alcatel Idol 4 for $199.99. The phone comes bundled with free VR goggles.
The 5.2-inch Alcatel Idol 4 has Android 6.0 installed. Inside there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, along with 16GB of internal storage and a 2,610 mAh battery. It also has a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 MP front facing camera, Owners can access VR content with the goggles via the phone's Alcatel VR Store or from VR content pioneer Littlstar. The Alcatel Idol 4 is available with all of Cricket's smartphone plans.
