Google's already partnered with most major automobile brands, and after years of resistance from Toyota, the Japanese car brand is finally on board.
This news comes from a report, and while it isn't set in stone quite yet, it's expected that a final announcement will be made at some point in October (possibly at Google's October 9 Pixel 3 event).
Although Android Auto can technically be used in Toyota cars right now, it's done so through Ford's SmartDeviceLink feature that severely limits the features and UI.
