. But it’s obvious. No other Samsung smartphone will likely come with the next-gen network support before the Galaxy S10.

AT&T also said that it would work with Samsung to create a manufacturing technology-focused 5G “innovation zone.” The Dallas-based carrier has been deploying such 5G zones around the country lately. The company also plans to launch its 5G service in 12 markets by the end of 2018, and in another seven markets in the first half of 2019.

Samsung, meanwhile, is attending Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Technology Summit in Maui this week. The company will show off a proof of concept 5G device at the event.
