The upgrade bundles all of the changes baked into last month’s Security Maintenance Release, which includes patches for twenty-eight Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures in the Android operating system and twelve in Samsung’s in-house firmware, as well as a number of much-needed bug fixes.

for the factory unlocked variant of the handset in Canada, leading us to believe it’s on the way to Europe. We just don’t know when exactly it will arrive, but we’ve contacted Samsung in an attempt to find out.

To check to see if the upgrade—G903FXXS1BQH1—is available for your Galaxy S5 Neo, open up Settings, select About Device, then tap Download Updates Manually. If you don’t, however, feel like going down that route, you can always wait until you receive an alert instructing you install the OTA, but, as we’ve said in the past, that typically takes a little longer to reach your device.
