Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have integrated the game into their campaigns in the absolute most cringe-worthy ways imaginable.
First off, no stranger to political pandering, Hillary Clinton is . Taking things one step further, she also said today, "I don't know who created Pokemon Go, but I'd try to figure out how we get them to have 'Pokemon Go To The Polls!'" GET IT?! Pokemon GO to the POLLS. Here's video:

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign did exactly what you'd expect the Trump campaign to do by releasing the following video where "Pokemon Go" has been replaced with "Crooked Hillary No" and Hillary is captured by a pokeball only to reveal that her next evolution is "Unemployed."

It all seems pretty gross to effectively use a super neutral game that everyone is enjoying and trying to wrap it up into some weird political message, but, eh, that's politics for you. It really makes you wonder if we were in the midst of an election when Flappy Bird hit, would we see similar things?
Anyway, this is the perfect reminder to stock up on your "" yard signs.
