Samsung started selling the Galaxy Note 7 on August 19 in 10 countries. After a series of events where , Samsung has made it official that it will soon conduct a recall of its latest flagship smartphone. The announcement will reportedly by made at 17:00 (Korea Time) in Seoul by DJ Koh, the head of Samsung’s handset business.
According to a new report from Yonhap News, a Samsung official has confirmed that the source of the explosion in faulty units has been traced to the battery of the phablet, and that the company doesn’t want to disappoint its customers by ignoring their safety.
