an early version of an upcoming card battling game called Causa, Voices of the Dusk from developer Niebla Games. Like pretty much any other card battler that has descended from the framework created by Magic: The Gathering, Causa has you assembling a deck and taking it into competition against an opponent and their own created deck. The wrinkle here is your ability to sacrifice cards in your deck to increase your energy pool, which as the pool gets higher lets you play more powerful cards into the game. just shy of two weeks from now on May 26th. Here’s a brand new trailer celebrating that release.

Ahead of the Early Access launch, there will be a special streaming event featuring various influencers showcasing the gameplay in Causa, and this will happen on

one week from today on May 21st, so be sure to set a reminder for that. As for this Early Access version of the game, the developers state that it “includes almost all major features that will be in the full release version" and so they really are nearing the finish line with Causa, and what they’re really looking for during Early Access is balancing and refinement based on the feedback of real-world players. The full release version of Causa will be heading to desktop (obviously), iOS, Android, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 and will feature cross-platform multiplayer between all versions as well as a lengthy single player component. It all sounds very cool so be sure to check out the streaming event next week or the Early Access launch the week after, and then look forward to a mobile version of Causa, Voices of the Dusk at some point later this year.
