As part of their announcements this week, app company Clean Master have announced a partnership with China-based phone maker CUBOT. The two companies are teaming up to release CheetahPhone, an phone that will come with the Clean Master app pre-installed.
Clean Master states:
Cheetah Mobile's Clean Master app cleans junk files, optimizes the device's memory, manages installed apps, and provides complete protection against viruses to improve performance and increase battery life."
The CheetahPhone will have an unnamed ARM-based 64-bit octa-core processor running at 1.5GHz, along with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It will also have a 13MP rear camera and a 8MP front-facing camera, along with a fingerprint sensor. Buyers will also get 10GB of free cloud storage. Today's announcement did not reveal the display size of the phone but did say it would have a 1920x1080 resolution. The CheetahPhone does not yet have a specific release date but it will be available "in the coming months" from Amazon in many European countries for the price of €199.
