Corning Gorilla Glass 5 will survive drops up to "selfie-height"

Corning, the company behind the glass on your smartphone has just announced Gorilla Glass 5. "With each successive generation of Corning Gorilla Glass, we have taken cover glass technology to new levels." Corning says that over 85% of smartphone owners have dropped their phones at least once per year with 55% of owners saying they've dropped their phones at least 3 times or more per year.
