I know everyone is in the midst of Pokemon GO [] fever, and maybe even some Super Stickman Golf 3 [] when they're not out trying to rule their local gym, but Double Fine has just dropped a cool release on us: Day of the Tentacle Remastered [] has just released on iOS. This classic point-and-click adventure game cmae out in a remastered version earlier this year, but a mobile version was conspicuously absent despite other games such as Grim Fandango [] getting mobile versions. It seemed really only like a matter of time, and well, time has come!
This is one of the most beloved games from the peak point-and-click adventure era, and reviews of the remastered edition on other systems seem to indicate that this one has held up well with time. Point-and-click games have enjoyed a resurgence in popularity, possibly due in part to more of an audience and the ease of distributing them, but if you haven't checked this classic of the genre out yet, well, $5 is a steal for it.
