, as Android Pie is its second major update, which is the maximum Samsung provides for even its $1000 flagships. Of course, Samsung could have launched the Galaxy J7 Nxt with Oreo out of the box instead of launching it with Android 7.0 Nougat in July last year, a few months after Android Oreo was released for flagship Galaxy smartphones. But launching new phones with older versions of Android is something the company continues to do, and it probably won’t stop any time soon.
