is inching its way towards the market, and as part of its pre-launch process, the device seems to have been approved by the Chinese regulatory agency TENAA. This allows us to take a closer look at the smartphone’s exterior design, as TENAA applications are generally accompanied by live photos, and this one is no exception.

Large camera housing to become a design trend?


Judging by the live photos shared by TENAA, the Galaxy M30s will indeed feature an unusual rear-facing camera setup. Or rather, the camera housing where the three rear-facing sensors and LED flash reside is uncommonly large.

We are unable to confirm at this point if the information above is correct, but, at the least, bumping the phone’s fast charging capabilities up from the usual 15W would be most welcomed for a large 6,000mAh unit which would inevitably require a fair amount of recharge time.
