The Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be the first Samsung device to support Bluetooth 5.1. In particular, the S Pen will have a Bluetooth 5.1 connection. Now, this is where things get interesting, as the biggest upgrade in Bluetooth 5.1 is . In other words: the Note 10 Lite just might be the first Note that knows where its S Pen is.
The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ have an S Pen that recognizes , but when the stylus is not close to the display, the device has no way of knowing its exact location. While gestures do provide a few fun features, we can imagine accurate location tracking creates a whole new dimension of S Pen functionality.
Of course, we do not know if the Note 10 Lite will indeed sport fresh new S Pen features. After all, it is the Lite version of its more expensive brothers. But the Bluetooth 5.1 certification shows that the phone’s hardware is capable of tricks the regular Note 10 models cannot perform.
