We’ve known for a little while now that Samsung is planning to release a revamped variant of the called the Galaxy On7 (2016). We first heard of the handset three months ago when it was . One month later, the device shedding some light on its internals. Then, just two weeks ago, the unit was bearing the model number SM-G610F.
Earlier today, however, an unannounced Galaxy-branded smartphone passed through the United States of America’s official certification authority, the FCC. Unfortunately, the documentation provided in the listing doesn’t reveal much about the handset, other than that it carries the model number SM-G610F, and will ship with a plethora of different connectivity options, including WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS and LTE compatibility for bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20 and 40 — so we have good reason to believe that we are, in fact, looking at the Galaxy On7 (2016).
Recent leaks, rumors and speculation point towards the Galaxy On7 (2016) packing a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 CPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable internal storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP selfie shooter, a fingerprint scanner and a 3,000mAh battery that should last for around 80-hours on standby. The device is also believed to ship running skinned with the latest build of Samsung’s user interface out of the box.
