The latest software update for the carrier-locked units of the , , and comes with firmware version G981USQS5HWF2. The update is currently available on Metro PCS, Sprint, and T-Mobile networks in the US. We expect other carriers to release the new Galaxy S20 update on their networks within the next few days. The update brings the that fixes found in Galaxy phones and tablets. It doesn’t include any new features or performance enhancements.
If you have a Galaxy S20 series device that is carrier-locked in the US, you can now check for the new update. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from and flash it manually.
