The June 2023 update that was dubbed a “super update” first rolled out in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and a week later, it . Then it made its way , and now, it’s finally available in South Korea.
The massive June 2023 update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in South Korea carries firmware version S91xNKSU2AWF5 (via ). It suggests that the update might indeed be slightly different than what most of the world got through the AWF1 firmware.
According to the official changelog machine translated from Korean, this June 2023 update for the Galaxy S23 series improves the emergency SOS feature, adds 2X zoom for Portrait mode, adds a “function to batch delete movie clips for multiple Motion Photos,” and applies stabilization code.
The changelog does not mention subtle improvements to haptic feedback, Night Mode improvements, fixed autofocus, or smoother One UI transition animations. But these features might and should still be there for Korean Galaxy S23 users.
