Galaxy Labs is something like Samsung’s version of Android’s developer options menu and is meant to let users try out a few in-development features, possibly before they become a standard part of Samsung’s software.

It might actually be a good move for the carriers – they don’t want users trying out test features and then calling up customer care to ask for a fix. Of course, we might just be trying to justify something that isn’t justifiable – after all, there was no reason for carriers
