Samsung recently updated the Indian variant of the Galaxy S7 , and it is now rolling out the same update to the in the country. It’s rather odd to see Samsung still being unable to push out updates to both the regular and edge models at the same time, but the company will hopefully get a lid on these delays when it launches both versions of the Galaxy S8 with an Edge display.
In any case, the update is now available over the air for Indian users. Apart from the February security patch, there isn’t anything noteworthy in this update, although we have heard that it brings slight improvements to battery life. To get the update, hit the Download updates manually button in the Settings » Software update menu on your S7 edge (it is a 103 MB download). After it is done installing, your phone’s firmware build should be G935FXXU1DQBO.
