Google actually came out with this new and improved emoji collection for Android late last year but Samsung didn’t update its devices with them. They’re included in Android 7.0 Nougat which is why the Galaxy S8 has them. You can also get Emoji 4.0 on the which runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box as well.
There are a total of 646 new emojis present in this release which include all of the new gender and skin tone variations. Every male emoji has a female equivalent and vice versa. Since this is a Samsung device, all laptop-wielding emoji have a Samsung logo.
