Have your shiny new Galaxy S8 or S8+ all set up and wondering if there is a way to swap those phone and camera shortcuts on the lockscreen with a shortcut to other apps? There most certainly is. It’s been an option on all Samsung devices in recent years, and it’s present on the company’s newest flagships as well. It makes a lot of sense, too, as the camera can always be launched with a double press of the power button (

Here’s how you can change the app shortcuts on the lockscreen on your Galaxy S8 or S8+:

Step 1: Open the phone’s settings from the app drawer or by hitting the gear icon in the notification shade.

Step 2: Go into the Lock screen and security menu.

Step 3: Here, go into App shortcuts.
