New phones, tablets, and smartwatches are set to be unveiled at the , and like any other year, leaks have given us a look at those new devices ahead of time. And as we get closer to the event, the frequency of leaks seems to have been dialed up to 11.
After new photos of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic made their way online earlier this week, we’re now getting to see a previously unseen image of the Galaxy Tab S9, Samsung’s next flagship tablet lineup.
This image seems to be one of the promo images Samsung will use when the Galaxy Tab S9 series goes official. It shows how the Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra compare in size, with the Ultra model unsurprisingly being the biggest. Also interesting is the wallpaper, which seems to have been designed to showcase how awesome Samsung’s AMOLED displays can be and also indicates that the Tab S9 series will indeed be water resistant, .
Speaking of AMOLED displays, rumor has it that all three Galaxy Tab S9 model will use an AMOLED panel instead of just the Plus and Ultra models. The base Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S8 models had an LCD display, so this is a welcome change that, frankly, should not have been required because Samsung shouldn’t be using an LCD panel on flagship Galaxy devices in the first place.
