Google has announced that it will be expanding its 1Gbps internet service to some condos and apartments in San Francisco. Prospective customers can check their address now to see if and when they will receive the option for Google Fiber. Property managers can also contact Google about bringing Fiber to their buildings.

We're bringing Google Fiber to some of San Francisco's apartments and condos. We're working with property owners and managers in buildings near existing fiber infrastructure to explore connecting their residents to gigabit Internet.
At the same time, the company will also be bringing Fiber to some of San Francisco's affordable and public housing properties to better connect those who need the internet most. Google recently in Kansas City, Missouri, promising to expand it to affordable and public housing in all of its Fiber cities.
