We've really been enjoying Google Fit following its overhaul this past August, and now as we head towards the end of the year, Google's issuing

since then to add a couple smaller features to flesh the platform out a bit more.

For folks using Google Fit on an Android phone, you'll soon have access to home screen widgets. These were oddly removed when Fit went through its redesign, so it's nice to see these make a return. There are two that you can add, one showing the current progress with your Move Minutes and Heart Points while the other allows you to quickly see your steps, calories, and miles.

Moving to the app itself, your most recent workout will now be shown on the homepage. When manually adding a workout, you'll have the option of inputting the intensity of it to get more accurate Heart Points based on how hard you pushed yourself.

Last but not least, Google Fit on Wear OS is getting guided breathing exercises similar to what we've seen on Samsung's Gear/Galaxy wearables, the Fitbit Versa and Ionic, and the Apple Watch. While not a ground-breaking feature by any means, it is nice to see something like this make its way to Google Fit.

Google says these features are rolling out to users this week, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for them!
