According to a new report published by a Sina News, Huawei Technologies has filed

against Samsung Electronics. It’s believed that the Chinese multinational corporation has collected substantial evidence through the purchase of its competitor’s high-end smartphones to prove that the technology used in the handsets infringes its patents, and is demanding the sum of 80-million Yuan ($12-million) as compensation.

. After conducting tests on the devices, it concluded that all three featured a technical feature that imposed on one of their patents. It’s currently unknown what functionality Samsung has allegedly copied, but ties have been made to a patent for technical solutions on terminal displays that was granted to Huawei on June 5, 2011.
