Huawei will bring the world's first foldable 5G phone to the MWC

Huawei's pre-MWC briefing on 5G focused on its new Balong 5000 5G modem and the company's base station hardware. However, a curious bit of info was snuck in towards the end of the hour-long presentation - Huawei is bringing a 5G phone to the MWC. And not just any 5G smartphone, but a foldable 5G smartphone. That would be a world's first. The phone will use the Kirin 980 chipset in combination with the Balong 5000 modem. Well, "phones" actually, the slide suggests there will be more than one 5G handset presented in Barcelona (presumably, only one of them will be foldable). Anyway,...
