When Thylacine Studios released their latest game Siralim 3 on Steam and said that the mobile version would be released “When it’s ready," I didn’t know that it was, like, THAT ready. Siralim 3 has just arrived on the iOS App Store and on with each version running $4.99 with no IAP. Following in the footsteps of the jump from the original Siralim to Siralim 2, this third sequel takes an already massive and genre-spanning game and makes it even bigger and better. Thylacine attempts to point out some of the differences and improvements between 2 and 3 , but the truth is there’s just so much to Siralim 3 that it can’t all be put neatly into words. If you enjoyed the first two games though, I think you already know you’ll be mashing the buy button on Siralim 3.
If you aren’t familiar with the Siralim games, then a good place to start would be of the original game. Keep in mind though that the review was from around the game’s original release, and over the course of the next two years there were numerous updates and expansions that polished up and added to the game. Then you should check out of Siralim 2 to see how all that progress working on the first game resulted in a bigger and better sequel in just about every way imaginable. Again, Siralim 2 also received a ton of post-launch love so that review doesn’t quite tell the whole story, but both reviews should at least give you an idea of the type of game you’re in for with Siralim 3.
