The latest security update for the Galaxy S21 FE comes with firmware version G990BXXU5EWE7 for the SM-G990B version and firmware version G990B2XXU4EWE7 for the SM-G990B2 version. Both versions are getting the update in Austria, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the UK, and other European countries.
The June 2023 security patch included in the new software update solves more found in Galaxy phones and tablets. The new update doesn’t bring any new features or performance improvements. At least, they are not mentioned in official changelog for the new Galaxy S21 FE update.
