Along with the announcement of a North American release date the blog post also offers up an interesting Q&A with Tetsuya Nomura which sheds some light on to what went into the creation of the mobile title and what's in store for some of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts stuff on consoles. This part in particular stood out to me: "As mentioned in the beginning, this is the story of the start of KINGDOM HEARTS. In other words, there is no need for any prior knowledge of the series. I would love for people who have not yet played KINGDOM HEARTS to take this opportunity to casually jump right in with a blank slate." As someone who has never played a Kingdom Hearts game, this sounds like it's a good spot to jump into the universe. Long-time fans shouldn't fear though, as Nomura promises there will be plenty for existing fans to chew on as well. Look for Kingdom Hearts Unchained Chi later this week!
