When it's not buying American TV set makers, LeEco is busy purchasing controlling stakes in established Chinese smartphone manufacturers such as Coolpad. And now that the two companies have gotten closer (as LeEco holds a lot of Coolpad shares), they have also decided to collaborate on a new smartphone. It's still unclear what this device will be called, but the result of the cooperation between LeEco and Coolpad will definitely be high-end.
