Motorola announced its list of devices scheduled to make the switch to Marshmallow in October, omitting the Moto E 2015. In December, the manufacturer amended the list to include the entry-level handset, with the caveat that only select regions — Europe, Latin America, Canada, and Asia (except China) — would receive the update to Android 6.0. With the U.S. not included in the list, the Moto E 2015 is effectively in the country.
