Apple and Ericsson are ending a years-long patent feud beginning with a new license deal between the two companies. According to a new report from Reuters, Ericsson announced it had reached a global patent license agreement with Apple which includes “global cross-licenses for patented cellular standard-essential technologies.” The new licensing agreement comes after years of legal patent disputes between Apple and Ericsson. Back in 2015, Apple sued Ericsson for allegedly demanding excessive royalties for LTE technology. Later that year, Ericsson and Apple settled that dispute....
