Besides being a hugely compelling survival game, Out There really did a fantastic job at creating a whole universe and mysterious storyline to tie all the action together. I can't think of any other game where the dread of being lost in the vast emptiness of space has felt more real to me. That's why the release of Out There Chronicles is so neat, as it's more of an interactive story than a game but it fleshes out that universe and ties into the main game in some neat ways. Seriously, if any of this sounds interesting to you, you need to snap up Out There: Omega Edition for a dollar immediately, and if you get sucked into the world as many of us have, consider expanding your knowledge of it with the fantastic Out There Chronicles as well.
