Samsung is going to officially release the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on April 21 in South Korea and the United States. It has been taking pre-orders for the new flagship smartphones since a couple of weeks and in South Korea alone .
Some carriers in the United States and South Korea have shipped Galaxy S8 pre-order units ahead of time. T-Mobile has kept up with its tradition of in the United States as some of its pre-order customers have already received their units.
Samsung itself confirmed today that more than 260,000 units of the Galaxy S8 with the country’s top three mobile carriers even though the official release date has been set for April 21.
