If you are not aware of yet (and let’s be honest, you’re probably not) Let me start by asking you a few questions… Do you like RTS games? What about tower defense? How about in VR and supporting multiplayer? Hopefully I have your attention now!
Hello, my name is Mark Taylor and I am the developer for Korix. Korix has been a real labour of love over the past year with my sole goal being to release a game with old-school gameplay reminiscent of RTS’s from the late 90’s on PlayStation VR. I am so excited to see Korix released and more importantly, I finally get to play with you!
Korix places you deep in space, fighting for your race’s survival after your homeworld is destroyed. With nothing left to lose you are put in the role of commander with the sole mission of taking the fight back to the enemy. Build up your defenses, capture the resources and build your own army to exact revenge.
I am also very proud to announce that Korix has been optimised to run at 120fps natively on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro with those lucky enough to own a Pro seeing higher image quality through improved local shadows.
With a single player campaign, skirmish mode and online multiplayer (2 to 4 players in co-op or vs) there is plenty to get your teeth into.
I had a lot of fun creating Korix and can’t wait to see you (literally) in the game!
