Vector Unit's latest entry in their fun Riptide GP series of water vehicle racing games, Riptide GP: Renegade, has been in the works for a while now, with . The good news is that the game is set to finally release, with Apple TV and the Nvidia Shield Android TV set to get the game on August 2nd for $9.99. A mobile version is set to hit "shortly after" the TV versions.
Now, I know I am prone to complain about the mobile stigma where games are often released on mobile after their console versions to not seem like mobile versions. And on paper, that's the case here: the game is releasing on console and PC a week before for $14.99. Us mobile gamers are so mistreated. We have to suffer the tyranny of having to wait...an additional week and paying five dollars less for the exact same game! Nobody knows our suffering.
