In case you don't know who, or rather what, Sam is, it's a digital avatar Samsung created for the ultimate goal of promoting the Galaxy range of devices. Sam isn't an AI or ChatGPT with a digital face but an animated digital avatar with a team of real people working behind the scenes to breathe life into it.
Sam has had the most success in Brazil, where she on Samsung's website. Or, more accurately, a team of nameless people wrote under Sam's authorship, but let's not get bogged down in these details.
Now, Sam is debuting her music “career” and has launched her first music video on YouTube and Spotify.
Sam's first song — titled Flip Your Way — carries a positive message and reflects Samsung's #DoWhatYouCan't mantra. It encourages fans to dream and follow their dreams. And, of course, the music video features the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
, Sam draws inspiration from both the K Pop and Pop movements. However, Samsung hasn't revealed the identity of the real singer behind the digital avatar. Once again, Sam isn't an AI, and her song wasn't created by a voice generator. In any case, Samsung's goal is for Sam to attract more Galaxy Z Flip 5 customers.
Back in August, the company realized that Sam has a positive influence, particularly on customers in Latin America. Samsung claimed that the virtual avatar of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Fold 5, Watch 6, and Tab S9 in the region.
What will Sam do next? Will she continue to pursue her music career? Will she ever get back to writing tips on her blog? Nobody knows. But Samsung doesn't seem to want to let go of her just yet.
