Despite solid growth, Samsung’s semiconductor business ended 2020 firmly behind Intel in terms of the only metric that matters – money. The South Korean juggernaut is estimated to have generated over $56 billion in revenue from silicon sales, a 7.7% improvement compared to 2019. Meanwhile, Intel’s annual growth rate was less than half that figure, amounting to 3.7%.
