It is compatible with various apps, including YouTube, Plex, Kodi, Hulu, Xfinity, Sling TV, Epix, and Crackle. It is also compatible with VLC and MX Player. Samsung will add support for more video streaming apps soon. Amazon’s Prime Video app is currently disabled, though.

When the PhoneCast app is launched, users are presented with a scenic background with lakeside campfire, and any compatible video streaming app can be launched.
