Samsung 837 in NYC will let public play with Galaxy S10 right after launch

Feb 22, 2016
Samsung will be opening Galaxy S10 pre-orders on February 21, but sales are expected to begin on March 8. That means getting to try the Galaxy S10 at a store won’t be immediately possible after the flagship goes official, unless you happen to be in New York City and visit the Samsung 837 store right when the Unpacked livestream is taking place. Samsung has announced that it will allow the public to try their hands on the Galaxy S10 at Samsung 837 right after the official announcement ends.

The Samsung 837 store was designed for the purpose of letting consumers try out new products from the company, and since the Galaxy S10 is going to be unveiled in San Francisco instead of at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, it makes sense for the Galaxy S10 to be available at Samsung’s biggest ‘experience center’ in the US. You probably won’t be able to place orders for the phone at Samsung 837, though, since Samsung 837 was always envisioned as a place for people to experience the Korean giant’s products rather than as a typical store.

To be able to visit Samsung 837 for the Galaxy S10 livestream and public hands-on, you will need to sign up at Samsung’s official Galaxy Unpacked Livestream webpage. Just tap/click the RSVP button there to register and reserve your sport at the event (you’ll need to login to your Samsung account). The livestream starts at 1 PM on February 20.
