A statement given to Korea's Yonhap news agency indicates that the hardware issue affects less than 0.1% of all Note 7 devices sold. reports that 1 million Note 7s will be recalled around the world.
The recall will also delay the coming European launch of the Galaxy Note 7, which had been slated for September 2. According to , the Note 7 launch will not go ahead as planned, but will be held back to some future date.
