from your wrist with the Galaxy Watch Active 2 last year. However, this feature wasn’t available at launch as Samsung needed regulatory approval.

These things tend to take time. Samsung only received approval from the regulators in South Korea for ECG a few months ago. The feature still remains unavailable elsewhere but that’s about to change soon. Samsung has confirmed that the FDA has approved the ECG feature for use in the United States.
