, but on the hardware front, the newer model offers no upgrades.

The hardware includes a 4.5-inch WVGA display, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 8GB of storage, 1.5GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. 4G connectivity is onboard, and under the hood resides a 2,000 mAh battery. The Xcover 3 Value Edition has IP67 and MIL-STD 810GB certification, which means it is resistant to water and can take a few hard drops to the floor without breaking a sweat.

The Galaxy Xcover 3 Value Edition is available for purchase in the Netherlands for €228. There’s no telling if the device will be offered in other markets, though even if it is already available elsewhere, Samsung probably won’t be making an official announcement.
