Samsung Gear app updated with battery indicator

Samsung launched the new edition of the Gear S2 Classic smartwatch and it also updated the app used to manage all of its smart wearables. The Samsung Gear app is now at version 2.2.16011842. The big addition is that the app now displays the battery charge of the smartwatch. Next to the indicator are three simple tips on how to improve battery life, including using a black watch face (so that the OLED display uses less energy).
