Samsung India has just sent us an invite to an event in the country’s capital tomorrow, June 14th, and the company is teasing the launch of a ‘next generation innovation.’ There’s no mention of what product will be launched, but it may be for the . It’s not confirmed, and there’s nothing really innovative about the new J series handsets, but the popularity of the J series in India suggests it is what the event will be about.
The new Galaxy J handsets will be less impressive for consumers in India, as they were already treated to some of the new features through the Galaxy J7 Prime that was launched last year (read our review ), including a metal body and a fingerprint sensor. Samsung is likely to launch only the Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) in the country at tomorrow’s event, with a separate launch for the Galaxy J3 (2017) later down the line.
