Samsung has released an companion application for the Gear S2 on the Play Store. The integration of the smartwatch into the ARTIK Cloud network enables users to control all of their devices from their wrist, including Samsung appliances. Unfortunately, the application has to be connected to the wearable via Bluetooth to function, which means that they’ll need to have their smartphone nearby at all times.
