Following a brief , Samsung has launched its mobile payment platform — Samsung Pay — in Hong Kong, with support for American Express, Bank of China (Hong Kong), Citibank, Dah Sing Bank, DBS and Standard Chartered.

According to PocketNow, customers in the region will only be able to take advantage of Samsung Pay if they own an NFC-enabled Galaxy device that was released in fall of 2015 or later, which means it isn’t available on the and .
