, Samsung has today started pushing out this month’s Security Maintenance Release (SMR) — LM47X.A510FXXS2APD2 – for the unlocked variant of the Galaxy A5 (2016) in Europe.

in a post over on its Security Blog, the upgrade brings a handful of critical patches to the handset, including a fix for a vulnerability in the Gallery application that could have resulted in permanent memory corruption if not dealt with immediately.
