Samsung secures sixth rank in Best Global Brands 2019 by Interbrand

Samsung Electronics has secured the sixth rank in the ‘Best Global Brands 2019’ study by Interbrand, a US-based consultancy firm. The study pegs the Korean company’s brand value at $61.1 billion – an increase of 2% when compared to last year. Samsung

Apple topped the rankings with a brand value of $234.2 billion, followed by the maker of Android, Google, at $167.7 billion, Amazon at $125.2 billion, and Microsoft at $108.8 billion. Coca Cola is the only non-tech company in the top five with a brand value of $61.3 billion. Interbrand takes into consideration, among other things, the financial performance of the brand, its ability to create loyalty and influence purchase decisions to arrive at the brand value.
