. That was a limited time offer only for those who pre-ordered the flagship. It’s now offering the virtual reality headset to any and all customers who purchase a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ from Magenta.

T-Mobile customers who purchase the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ by May 14 will be eligible for a free Samsung Gear VR with Controller. The carrier does explain on the FAQ page that this promotion is also valid for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ handsets bought between April 21 and April 27.

Priced at $129, the Samsung Gear VR with Controller features a wireless controller that has a clickable touchpad, volume keys, trigger and navigation buttons. The headset has support for both microUSB and USB Type-C ports so it’s compatible with devices like the Galaxy Note 5 and
